To the left of the main entrance on 86th st, there is an automatic door and ramp for strollers.

This is the easiest way to get in. Please leave strollers in the lobby unless you have 2 children that are not able to walk yet, in which case you may bring your stroller to the 10th floor.

When you get to the 10th floor go straight out of the elevator towards the bathrooms. Before you get to the bathrooms you will see a BIG room on your left that has wall to wall carpet. Class will be in there.

-The class has AC units and windows that we can crack open.

Classroom Etiquette:

-Please do not bring toys to class (unless you want to bring your own shakers or bells, but please no little guitars or other toys as they cause distractions)

If your child REALLY needs to bring a "lovey" for comfort that is ok, but please be advised if it causes a distraction it will have to be put away, which can often be harder for kids than just leaving it at home or in the stroller in the first place. However, usually when a child really needs a lovey the other kids get it, lol.

-Shoes off inside please

-Music should be social, but please talk quietly if talking with friends, so the kids can hear the music properly.

-No solid food or pouches as it is distracting for other kids and also could make a mess.

-Bottles/nursing/ and non-staining drinks are fine for your kids though :)

-For parents drinking coffee, smoothies, etc please make sure you always put your drinks in a safe place or in a spill safe container. We don't want to ruin any rugs! Lol

What to Bring!

-If you have a young infant who is not sitting up yet on their own or is still spitting up,

please bring a thin blanket for them to roll around on and to protect the rug from spit up (lol).

We will supply instruments for kids to jam on in class! (which we clean after each class).
Please do not bring other Toys to class unless you really want to bring your shakers, Bells, Drums etc.

And DO buy yourself some instruments so your kids can jam at home too!

About Bandleader CJ!

CJ has been teaching Ramblin' Dan classes for over four years and is in high demand all over NYC! With over 1000 early childhood music classes taught, his engaging approach to the kids, coupled with his exceptional musicianship and quick humor, make his classes entertaining for both the kids and adults! A “musician’s musician,” CJ plays an array of instruments in professional capacities including guitar, piano and drums, and he is constantly gigging in New York clubs, weddings, and piano bars in addition to rocking out with our little members of The Freewheelin’ Band. About Bandleader Brendan

Since 2019, kids all over Long Island, Westchester and Brooklyn are raving about the Bandleader Brendan Experience and now he's finally moved to NYC for us all to enjoy! An amazing guitarist and singer, Brendan can play ANYTHING and has a huge repertoire. His versatile voice can effortlessly switch from gritty rock and roll to soothing lullabies, and his genuine "sweetheart" personality shines through the whole time. Brendan is sure to help your little one feel safe and cared for so they can feel free to let loose and rock out this semester!

About Bandleader Will!

With a background and long history of performing Rock n Roll, Theater and Musical Theater, Bandleader Will has the perfect mix for an ideal Ramblin' Dan Teacher. Warm, energetic and talented, Will is sure to win your kids over in a heartbeat and help them enjoy and explore music in no time. Will Joined us in the spring of 2023 and has been wowing families since at his classes and parties. We're so lucky he's part of our team!

Don't Come to Class if You're Sick!

If any sign of sickness by adult or child, they MUST stay home. Whether it's a fever, cough, or runny nose, if you have any sign of sickness you MUST stay home. The teacher will do the same.

Liability Waiver

By signing up for and attending these classes, you Release Ramblin Dan LLC from any liability for any reason whatsoever for any health related issue that may arise as a result of you attending the class.
